Did Pokémon card prices go up this week?
More cards went up than down, but the typical card stayed put. We tracked 3,868 higher-value English cards, from October 12 to October 19, 2026.[1] Of those, 42% rose and 31% fell. The rest barely moved.
The typical move across all of them was 0.0%. So a handful of big jumps make for loud headlines, but most binders looked about the same on October 19 as they did a week earlier.

How much should you read into one week?
Not much on its own. A week is short, and some of these moves will reverse. This list says what moved, not what happens next.
Market prices follow recent sales, so a card that rarely trades can jump or drop on just a few sales.
To cut down on noise, we compared each card's typical price over the last three days with the same three days a week earlier, so a one-day blip doesn't count. A card only made the cut if it cleared our price floor at both ends and its price had changed at least three times this month, so cheap cards and stale prices are left out.
Comparing weeks helps more than any single one. You can see the movers for the week to October 12, 2026, or watch the cards you care about in Pokelit, which prices English and Japanese cards every night from TCGplayer prices (see what it does).
PSA 10 prices for these cards
How we measured
We compared each English card’s TCGplayer market price over the last three days with the same three days a week earlier, using the middle value each time so a one-day blip doesn’t count. A card is included only if it’s worth $20 or more at both ends and its market price has changed at least three times this month, so stale prices are left out.
