Terms
These are the terms for using Pokelit: the iPhone app, this website, and the account they share. Pokelit is run by Daniel Fang, an individual in California (“we”). Using Pokelit means you agree to these terms and to the privacy policy. The short version: Pokelit shows you what cards are worth and keeps your records, none of it is financial advice, Plus renews until you cancel it where you bought it, and you can delete your account at any time.

Your account
You need to be at least 13 to have an account, and 18 (or have a parent's permission) to buy Plus. Keep your sign-in to yourself; what is done with your account is your responsibility. One account is for one person.
Free and Plus
Free costs nothing. Plus costs $4.99 a month or $39 a year, in US dollars, plus any tax your location charges. What each plan includes is on the pricing page. Plus renews automatically at the end of each month or year, at the price then in effect, until you cancel it. If the price changes, you will be told before it applies to you, and you can cancel before it does.
Bought on this website, Plus is billed by Stripe on our behalf. Cancel it any time on the Account page under Manage billing; it stays on until the end of the period you paid for and does not renew. Payments are not refunded for a part of a period, except where the law requires it. If a renewal payment fails, it is retried for a while and Plus stays on; if it keeps failing, Plus pauses until the card is updated.
Bought in the iPhone app, Plus is sold and billed by Apple, under Apple's standard licence terms and the App Store's terms as well as these. Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm, and it renews unless you turn it off at least 24 hours before the period ends. Manage or cancel it in your iPhone's Settings, under your name, then Subscriptions. Refunds for App Store purchases are Apple's to give, at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Plus bought either way works in the app and on this website alike, for the account that bought it. If you subscribe in both places, you pay twice; cancel one where you bought it.
Not financial advice
Prices, price history, forecasts, the most to pay, grade estimates and everything else Pokelit shows are measurements of market data from other sources and the output of models. They can be late, incomplete or wrong. They are shown for your information only and are not financial, investment or tax advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or grade any card. What you buy and sell, and for how much, is your decision and your risk. A grade estimate is not a grading company's decision.
Your records
The purchases, sales and notes you record are yours. You let us store and process them to run Pokelit for you, as the privacy policy describes. You can export your binder (on Plus) and delete your account at any time.
Using Pokelit fairly
Please don't copy, scrape or resell Pokelit's prices or figures, use it through automated means other than the app and this website, get around its limits (such as scans), try to break into or overload it, or use it for anything unlawful. “Unlimited” scans on Plus are for one collector's own use. We may suspend or close an account that does these things.
Other people's names and data
Pokelit is not affiliated with, endorsed or sponsored by Nintendo, The Pokémon Company, Creatures, GAME FREAK, TCGplayer, eBay or any grading company. Card names and images belong to their owners. Prices come from the sources named in the privacy policy, and their accuracy is theirs.
No warranty
Pokelit is provided as it is and as available. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or free of errors, or fit for any particular purpose.
Limits on liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for any loss of profits, money or data, including a loss on a card bought or sold because of something Pokelit showed. Our total liability for any claim about Pokelit is limited to the greater of what you paid us for Plus in the twelve months before the claim and $50. Some places do not allow some of these limits, and where they don't, they apply only as far as allowed.
Ending
You can stop using Pokelit and delete your account at any time, in the app or on the Account page. Deleting it cancels Plus bought on this website at once, without a refund for the rest of the period; Plus bought in the App Store must be cancelled with Apple. If we ever shut Pokelit down, we will say so in advance and refund the unused part of any subscription paid on this website.
Changes
We may change these terms. If a change matters, we will say so in the app or by email before it takes effect, and the date above will change. Using Pokelit after that means you accept the new terms; if you don't, you can cancel and delete your account.
The law
These terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to its conflict of law rules. Nothing here takes away a right the law of the place you live gives you and does not let a contract remove.
